Certified by the International Sommelier Guild since 2009, Tia Hubbard is the Sommelier at Ka‘ana Kitchen, the acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant at Andaz Maui. With over two decades of experience in the wine industry, Tia began her journey in Portland, Oregon, working in one of the city’s most respected wine programs and building a cellar recognized among the best in town.

Her passion for wine is rooted in its connection to history, culture, and geography. Tia has studied with winemakers across Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, China, and the Pacific Northwest, cultivating a deep understanding of terroir and tradition. She's held roles at prestigious venues including Waverly Country Club and have managed private cellars and worked with boutique distributors.

At Ka‘ana Kitchen, Tia curates a wine list focused on grower-producer wines—small, family-owned wineries that honor age-old winemaking traditions. The selection highlights exceptional vineyard sites and producers from around the world, with bottles starting at $68. Specializing in food and wine pairing, Tia collaborates closely with the culinary team to create unforgettable Chef’s Table experiences.

Her approach makes every meal a journey—where wine is not just a beverage, but a story of the land, the people, and the culture behind it.
